By Mauro OrruEutelsat OneWeb signed an agreement with Libyan telecoms operator Rawafed Libya for Telecommunications and Technology to provide high-speed connectivity across the war-torn country from early next year, by harnessing its constellation of hundreds of satellites. The subsidiary of Paris-based Eutelsat Communications said Wednesday that the multi-million-dollar, multi-year contract would make it easier for the oil-and-gas and financial-services industries to access reliable connectivity, as well as for humanitarian organizations that operate in the country.
