Nicolás Lang, a 23-year-old Argentine tourist who was vacationing in Colombia, died on Tuesday due to severe head injuries he suffered when he fell from the top of a hill. He was just trying to take a selfie, according to Colombian authorities. Nicolas was trying to take a selfie when he suddenly slipped, lost his balance and fell, hitting his head against a rock. Lang’s death sparked controversy in local media, considering that Minca is trying to bill itself as a rising tourism destination but there was no ambulance available to transfer the Argentine to a hospital. You can tell by the photos on his Facebook account that Lang was a big fan of the outdoors.
