First, Argentine Football Association (AFA) representatives had to go out and find a last-minute coach after Gerardo Martino resigned from his post last month. Then, newly appointed coach Julio Olarticoechea and AFA representatives had to jump through countless hoops to get the 18 players needed to fill the Olympic team roster due to local clubs’ reluctance to lend them. When the team got back to the hotel after the game, they found out that their clothes, money and tech devices had been stolen.
