Eight teams competed recently in the Southeast regional Envirothon The Envirothon is a natural resources competition for 9-12th grade students. The competition consists of seven testing stations, where participants answer questions on aquatics, forestry, special topics, soils, policy & land use, range, and wildlife. Beatrice took first in place in the regional competition. Tri County scored high enough to claim one of eight wildcard spots and will also compete at state. They will join 12 other schools from across the state to participate in the Nebraska State Envirothon Competition April 24, 2024 at Ponca State Park, Ponca, NE.
