Recent French elections may point Americans in a new direction, if we pay attention. Charlie Sykes, a conservative radio talk show host in Wisconsin, said on Morning Joe that he never thought he would see the day when he would envy French politics. Host Joe Scarborough chimed in in jest saying that the reason he was able to win his Congressional seat in rural Florida was by invoking the French example. The party is barely a year old and it has captured the imagination, as well as the votes, of the French electorate. So what lessons does French politics have for voters here?
