Queenstown's new marina is taking shape. PHOTO: PAUL TAYLORQueenstown’s new $20million marina is finally taking shape and the curved breakwater and the first floating berths are in place. Developer Lakes Marina Projects commissioned Fulton Hogan and Bellingham Marine to build the marina, in Sugar Lane, off Frankton Rd. Construction of the 156-space car park is also complete and the land-based buildings are progressing. There will eventually be 187 floating berths, 17 floating sheds, four other structures, the breakwater and car park.
