PETALING JAYA: School-leavers will have to go through the UPU Online portal to apply for the Education Ministry's matriculation colleges and institutes of teacher education (IPGM) 2020/2021 academic year enrolment. Previously, matriculation and IPG applicants had to apply through their individual portals. The Education Ministry Higher Education Department said Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) school-leavers would now have to go through UPU's online portal http://upu.moe.gov.my to apply for courses in these institutes. "Beginning the Academic Session 2020/2021 academic session, application for enrolment in the ministry's Matriculation and IPGM will be under a 'Single Window, Single Offer' (concept)," it said in a statement on Friday (Oct 18). The department said the portal was maintained by their student enrolment section, which also handled all applications for public institutions of higher education.
