The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Nebraska is pleased to announce the 83nd session of American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State will be held June 2-8, 2024. The Girls State program is open to any girl in their Junior year of high school. The Beatrice Legion Auxiliary would like to invite girls in their Junior year to apply. Applications are available now at the Beatrice High School Counselors office. At Girls State, young women learn how government works while developing leadership skills and an appreciation for their rights as citizens.
