Apple is donating US$2 million to two human rights groups as part of chief executive Tim Cook's pledge to help lead the fight against the hate that fuelled the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, during a white-nationalist rally. Cook announced the donation in an internal memo late Thursday that was obtained by The Associated Press.
