The new emojis introduced by Apple are similar to the Unicode 9.0 emojis released by the Unicode Consortium recently. Other interesting emojis include ROFL (rolling on the floor laughing), drooling face, clown face and lying face. Now, Apple has announced more than a hundred new and redesigned emojis, which will be available to iPhone and iPad users this fall with iOS 10. The Unicode 9.0 new emojis include facepalm, selfie, shrug and pregnant woman. “This exciting update brings more gender options to existing characters, including new female athletes and professionals, adds beautiful redesigns of popular emoji, a new rainbow flag and more family options,” Apple said.
