The puck that attaches magnetically to the back of an Apple Watch, charging it wirelessly, is also attractive. So did Apple, and the result is this just-announced patent which seems to be aimed at charging the Watch while it’s inside, protected and hidden from view. AppleThough, please note, the images suggest that the charging case needs to be plugged into juice up the Watch inside. It also suggests in the drawings that make up part of the patent, that you have to remove the Watch band before snuggling the Watch into the case for charging. Still, there are more features, such as the possibility of charging bands as well as the Watch.
