The newly appointed National Librarian and Chief Executive Officer of the National Library of Nigeria, Professor Chinwe Veronica Anunobi, has pledged to reposition the apex library and place it at par with its counterparts in the world. Head, Public Relations Division, Mr Vershima Orvell-Dio, in a statement on Thursday in Abuja quoted the new National Librarian as saying that she believes in collaboration and teamwork. Earlier in her remarks, Mrs Oluchi Kalu who had been acting as the National Librarian since August 2, 2021, welcomed Prof. Anunobi and pledged the unwavering support of the management and staff to the new National Librarian. It will be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari last week approved the appointment of Prof. Chinwe Veronica Anunobi as the new National Librarian and Chief Executive Officer of the National Library of Nigeria.
