A controversial Toronto barbecue restaurant has had its Aurora location closed over nearly $50,000 in unpaid rent. The Adamson Barbecue location in Aurora has been shut down since July 5 over $46,691.74 in rental debt, according to a letter posted to the door of the location and confirmed Thursday by a Toronto bailiff company. The letter, dated July 5, also said the locks to the property have been changed. He also faces non-criminal charges for breaching the Trespassing Act and violating orders of the Reopening Ontario Act. A legal proceeding launched by Skelly and his legal team was recently struck down after Justice Jasmine Akbarali cited basic procedural errors in the motion.
