Netflix has acquired the rights to Hannah Gadsby's latest stand-up show, Douglas. The Australian comedian announced on Tuesday that her hour-long comedy special, named after her beloved pet dog, will be available on the streaming giant from next year. NBC Australian comedian Hannah Gadsby, who presented the directing for television drama Emmy at this year's awards, managed to be funnier than most of the scripted patter that came before. Gadsby, who was born in Tasmania, is currently on the United States leg of her Douglas world tour.
