My kids got their MMR [measles, mumps and rubella] as soon as they could. The MMR vaccine is safe and effective. If your children are immunized there is very little to worry about during a measles outbreak. Infants are a vulnerable population during a measles outbreak. The MMR vaccine provides lifelong immunity for almost all who get it.
