PDB officials handed the Mitsubishi Pajero to the Anti-Corruption Commission or ACC on Tuesday after the seizure of a car similarly used by another former staffer of the board. ACC Director General Munir Chowdhury said they launched a drive two days ago to recover vehicles from the government pool being used by PDB employees illegally. The ACC seized another Pajero being used by Alauddin Mia, another of the board’s former employees, illegally for 10 years on Monday. The anti-graft watchdog later handed the vehicle to PDB and asked the board to use it properly, according to ACC Secretary Md Dilwar Bakth. Those responsible for allowing the former employees to use vehicles from government pool will face action after investigation, ACC DG Munir said.
