Calgarians could use a good laugh, and even though it came in the form of unauthorized park bench plaques, the mayor said he is thankful for some humour in today's world. This week an unknown person installed some bench plaques professionally engraved with "historical facts" at Bowmont Park in northwest Calgary. However, the public reaction was so positive, the city has now re-installed the plaques.
