Angel Gomes has signed for Lille following his departure from Manchester United last month. The 19-year-old will immediately go out on loan to Boavista after joining the Ligue 1 side, Skysports reports. United wanted Gomes to stay at the club and fulfil the potential that saw him win the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year Award in 2017. But Gomes decided it was time for a new challenge and will spend the season in Portugal after signing for French club Lille.
