Airing Jan. 5 on CBC, Run the Burbs is Phung’s first stab at creating his own sitcom and his first major role after the untimely end of the popular sitcom Kim’s Convenience earlier this year. The original plan was for Phung to star in and produce Run the Burbs while continuing his work in Kim’s Convenience.
