Within moments it turned into a soulful ambience as the signature notes of Ben E King's "Stand by Me" followed. The presentation turned to a more ‘soulful’ groove near the end of the evening. The guests began to trickle out to the tune of one of the last performances, "Ain’t No Sunshine When She is Gone". By the time the presentation drew to an end, the sunshine might have gone but the tunes remained. The evening will be remembered not just for Shawn Kelly on drums, or the other musicians mentioned before, but for the feeling that characterises an evening with soul.
