A concert was held at the Dhaka University (DU) for the Rohingya who have entered Bangladesh fleeing the violence in Myanmar. The concert was organised by university students’ cultural organisation “Provat Feri” on Saturday. Assaduzaman Shikdar, president of “Provat Feri”, said: “We have collected donation from the audience during the concert. “Myanmar should take them [Rohingya] back immediately and proper humanitarian facilities should be ensure for the in their own country.”Different bands formed by the university students and singers of “Provat Feri” performed at the concert. According to UNHCR, 536,000 Rohingya have entered Bangladesh since August 25, fleeing the violence in Myanmar.
