Kai Po Che and Aisha fame Bollywood actress Amrita Puri will soon be seen playing the lead role in an Indian adaption of the popular political thriller, Homeland. Also read: Sandhya Mridul to make TV comeback with desi Homeland? The Indian version of the show will be reportedly set against the backdrop of Kargil war. Tentatively titled as the Prisoners of War, the show will also feature popular actors like Satyadeep Mishra, Sandhya Mridul and Purab Kohli, among others. If media reports are anything to go by, actors Anita Hassanandani, Ankita Lokhande, and Sakshi Tanwar have also been approached to play important roles in the show.
