Sonakshi Sinha's Akira had created a lot of hype around the film, given that it was promoted as one of the best action films written for a woman character. The film earned Rs 5.15 crore on Friday and showed minimal or almost no growth on its second day at the box office. The film raked in another 5.30 crore on Saturday taking its two day total to Rs 10.45 crore. That is not a great figure, knowing that the action film was expected to do at least Rs 20 crore in its opening weekend. The 20 crore mark looks a distant dream but it needs to be seen how much the film does on Sunday.
