Of the seven Assembly constituencies falling under Amreli Lok Sabha seat, Congress had won five in the 2017 Gujarat elections.Patidar agitation led by Hardik Patel had helped the Congress against the BJP to some extent. All 26 seats from the state were won by the BJP in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. Polling in all 26 Lok Sabha seats in the state will be held on April 23.
