The Vice President during interactions with some electorate in the Central Region said the NDC was prepared to serve the NPP a double dose of their venom during the campaign season. The threat by the Vice President, Anthony Karbo in an interview with Adom News said, was very surprising as the NPP has never been insulting the ruling government. To him, the NPP only criticizes the actions and policies of the NDC government and never attacks actors in the government. According to Karbo, the Vice President might have been possessed by a ‘gbeshie’ spirit and that caused him to make ‘the baseless comments’. “I don’t know what has come upon him (Vice President), maybe a gbeshie spirit has taken possession of him hence his utterance… the NPP would continue criticizing the government and tell Ghanaians what it would do better when voted into power,” he added.
