At the beginning of the interview, the Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives briefed His Highness the Amir on the latest developments in the situation in Libya, expressing at the same time his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Amir of Qatar for the continuous and permanent support to the State of Libya and its people. For his part, HH the Amir reiterated Qatar's stance towards the Libyan people, supporting their options and achieving their aspirations for development and prosperity for the sake of Libya's unity and stability. During the meeting, aspects of developing and strengthening cooperation between the two countries were discussed, and the current developments in Libya were discussed, in addition to a number of regional and international issues.
