A case was filed against Mahmudur Rahman, acting editor of the Bangla daily Amar Desh, on charge of making “derogatory comments” allegedly about Bangladesh, India and Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu. While addressing an event at a Bogra hotel on March 1, Mahmudur Rahman said Information Minister Inu is a godfather of terrorism and he is an importer of terrorism in Bangladesh. And the media and all departments are being forced to comply with Sheikh Hasina’s orders,” AB Siddique said in his case statement.
