Allu Sirish was last seen in the Telugu remake of Pyaar Prema Kadhal, Urvasivo Rakshasivo, alongside Anu Emmanuel, a rom-com directed by Rakesh Sashii, that opened to a moderate response at the box office. The actor announced the film with a poster alongside a teddy in a metro. Or are they taking it forward with a new standalone film as part of Teddy franchise? The film is reportedly titled Buddy in Telugu. Netflix has acquired the OTT rights of the film and Junglee Music has bagged the music rights.
