He added that the managements of some of these clubs have refused to allow the public to use their sports facilities although they could pay the fees. “They are okay if their pools, tennis courts and other sports facilities remain empty rather than allow the public to use it for a fee. Mohamad said that since he assumed the post of president of the Seremban International Golf Club, he had opened its sports facilities to the public. Mohamad said he had also advised the management of a country club in Bandar Seri Sendayan to open its doors to the public for a fee. “It has many international standard sports facilities and the club has agreed to our request,” he added.
