ABOUT a million visitors, including foreign tourists, are expected to visit Klang during Visit Klang Year 2017In a move to promote the royal town, Klang Municipal Council (MPK) president Datuk Mohamad Yasid Bidin said the council would be spending a total of RM500,000 this year. “Klang has a lot of things to offer to visitors, including its rich history and tradition. Among the landmarks in the royal town is the Istana Alam Shah, the official palace of the Sultan of Selangor. The Raja Mahadi Fort is one of the many attractions in the royal town. He said tour organisers and tourists could obtain the tour booklet from MPK for free and walk around the royal town on their own.
