I am thankful to the highest court for allowing Bihar to be part of Ranji Trophy and other major tournaments.”A top official of the BCCI said that the “Board will abide by the SC orders and Bihar will play in Ranji championship next season”. Even with the SC orders on Thursday, the bitter battle for controlling cricket in Bihar has not ended. However, BCCI will now have no more excuses to not include Bihar in the list of Ranji Trophy teams.
