By Will FeuerAlliant Energy, a Madison, Wis.-based utility company, raised its quarterly dividend by 6% to 48 cents a share. The company will pay the new quarterly dividend to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Jan. 31. In October, the company declared a quarterly dividend of 45.25 cents a share.
