Burnley's Chris Wood celebrates his hat-trick against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Photo: ReutersAll Whites striker Chris Wood scored a first-half hat-trick as Burnley cruised to a 4-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday and eased their Premier League relegation fears. Sean Dyche's visiting side exposed a listless Wolves defence as they snapped a three-game losing run to climb to 14th in the league table and nine points clear of the relegation zone. The three goals made Wood the first Kiwi to score a Premier League hat-trick. The duo combined again just before halftime as Wood completed his first Premier League hat-trick with a header from a floated McNeil corner.
