Security footage from inside the GAS petrol station in Swanson shows a group of people approaching in hoods and carrying weapons, before running off. Security camera footage has captured a west Auckland petrol station owner successfully repelling a hooded gang, some carrying weapons. At around 7pm on Sunday a group of people pulled into the forecourt of the GAS petrol station in Swanson. Owner Zahid Chaudhry, 64, told Stuff he was approached by six to eight people wearing hoods, one carrying a stick. Police said in a statement they responded to a report of robbery at a petrol station on Swanson Road before 7pm.
