All The Corrupt Deals In Ghana Are Cooked At The Office Of The President – Franklin Cudjoe

The founder and president of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has given an explanation of why the creation of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has not had any significant impact on the fight against corruption in Ghana. He made the point that the country is failing in the fight against corruption because most of the corrupt deeds in the government start from the seat of government, the Office of the President. "Charity begins at home, and so fighting corruption should start at the Presidency because that is where all the crooked things are cooked. The petition, dated April 30, 2024, was presented to the president by the former Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu, and was relayed to Justice Gertrude Torkonoo on May 6, 2024. Amidu was reported to have cited procurement irregularities in the acquisition of vehicles for the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) and alleged misconduct involving judges and the administration of justice.
