All Black loose forward Elliot Dixon has been hospitalised with a nasty knee infection. Dixon was set to start on the openside flank for the Highlanders in their 40-15 win over the Sunwolves in Invercargill on Saturday night. On Saturday night he got through a further 40 minutes - this time in the Super Rugby arena. Highlanders co-captain Ash Dixon hasn't been sighted in Super Rugby this season because of a back injury but the hooker did make a return to club rugby in Dunedin on Saturday.
