The donation according to the Minister was not for the personal use of the candidate, but to resource him ahead of the 2020 polls underscoring the significance of reclaiming the seat which is a traditional seat of the NPP. “This is an appeal to others to also consider resourcing the party in order to ensure that we have all it takes to win the seats we have targeted for ourselves. Party work in the region should not only be about one person but a concerted effort and I wish to take this opportunity to comment Hajia Alima Mahama for the gesture. Let me hasten to add that she has paved the way and I would call on other appointees to emulate her example”, he said.
