Chinese e-commerce giant, Alibaba, is hosting Suvenia.com alongside three other Nigerian entrepreneurs are currently taking part in the first Alibaba eFounders Initiative Entrepreneurship Training Programme, titled Shaping Champions for the New Economy, hosted in the city of Hangzhou, China. The pilot eFounders Initiative Entrepreneurship Training Programme runs from 10 to 23 November 2017. It is organized jointly by the Alibaba Business School and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and hosted at the Alibaba Campus in the city of Hangzhou, China. Participants in the pilot programme will learn how e-commerce has transformed the economy and society in China along with the necessary skills to advance their enterprises. Core learnings will reinvigorate and inspire African entrepreneurship, develop a new era of online business, and eventually play a role in building the African e-commerce ecosystem.
