The former Rangers manager will be presented to the media at a press conference on Friday at Hampden Park. Sky Sports News reported on Wednesday that McLeish was in talks about returning to the role, 11 years after his first spell in charge. Alex McLeish was first appointed Scotland manager in 2007McLeish was first appointed Scotland boss in 2007, leaving his post less than a year in to take charge of Birmingham City after narrowly missing out on qualification for Euro 2008. Scotland play Costa Rica at Hampden on March 23 before an away game against Hungary four days later.
