Aldabaiba meets Sisi in CairoBy Sami Zaptia. London, 18 February 2021:Libya’s prime minister designate of the new Government of National Unity (GNU), Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba, met Egypt’s Abdel Fattah Sisi in Cairo today. Egypt’s prime minister, Mostafa Madbouly, and Abbas Kamel, head of the Egyptian General Intelligence, were also at the meeting. For his part, Sisi expressed his warm welcome to Aldabaiba, in his second country, Egypt, and congratulated him for obtaining the confidence of the members of the LPDF to lead the Libyan executive authority during the coming period. The Egyptian President also stressed Egypt’s keenness to continue supporting the Libyan government and people until it achieves complete stability at all levels.
