Undersecretary of Azhar Abbas Shoman - Photo by Sami WaheebCAIRO - 7 November 2017: Under Secretary of Al Azhar Abbas Shoman signed Tuesday the renewal of cooperation protocol with the British Council in the education field, in the presence of a number of representatives from the council.The protocol of cooperation was first signed in 2007.Shoman said in press statements that Al Azhar acknowledges the importance of foreign languages in delivering the true message of Islam to people around the world.He underlined that the British Council was one of the earliest and most active institutions to open a language center in Al Azhar University.
