Al-Ahly fans at Borg el-Arab stadium – Egypt TodayCAIRO – 5 April 2018: The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) received the approval of the security authorities to hold Al-Ahly’s CAF Champions League matches at Borg el-Arab Stadium in Alexandria.On Wednesday, the security authorities also gave permission to allow 15,000 fans to attend Al-Ahly’s African matches. The EFA sent an official letter to Al-Ahly stating the final decisions regarding the stadium and the particular number of fans allowed to attend.Al-Ahly has already settled the race for the Egyptian Premier League title, as the team now leads the league with 78 points, which is 19 points more than the second-placed Ismaily, while Zamalek is now third with 54 points after the team lost its latest game against Ismaily 3-1.
