The project forms part of sustained efforts to address the long-standing challenge of water scarcity in communities and public institutions, particularly CHPS compounds and health facilities, which have been prioritised under the intervention. The boreholes will be drilled and mechanised at the following locations: Wute Health Centre, Sremanu CHPS Compound, Gonikope CHPS Compound, Kpodzivi CHPS Compound, Cuniberto Health Centre, Assembly Premises, Livega CHPS Compound, Zuta-Tsapuni, Asafotsi CHPS Compound, Ahlepede CHPS Compound, Akatsi Main Market, Afatsableve, Havi-Godome, Yaluvl, Netokope, Kpevi, Akplakpope, Adrakpo, Anyiheme Lower-Fiato, and Avenor Technical Institute. Residents and community leaders have welcomed the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that demonstrates commitment to grassroots development and improved access to basic social amenities in Akatsi South.
