The wallet was found by Captain Sipong Tangchuwong and Lance Corporal Surin Thongrak when they were patrolling the departure lounge near Gate 2 at about 9.30pm. They took the wallet to Suvarnabhumi Airport Police Station to search for the owner. Shortly after that, a Chinese tourist, Xi Yun Pun, 28, arrived at the station to report that he had lost his wallet. Police checked his passport to confirm his identity and returned the wallet. Xi said he did not expect to see his wallet again.
