Pol Maj-Gen Wutthipong Phetkamnerd, commander of the Narcotics Suppression Bureau’s Division 3, said Thirapat Suanyaem, 28, was arrested while allegedly delivering 5,000 bottles of liquid ketamine and 12 bars of heroin hidden inside a Toyota Fortuner SUV. Police later led Thirapat to his rented house in the Perfect Place housing estate on Soi Ramkhamhaeng 174, in Bangkok’s Min Buri district at about 11.30pm, and police found the rest of the drugs. Wutthipong said police planned the arrest following the arrest of several drug suspects, who alleged they got drugs from Thirapat. Wutthipong alleged Thirapat has been renting the house for nine months for Bt25,000 a month to store drugs he had received from sources in the North.
