Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan on Monday advised officers of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) to remain on alert by keeping their “guard up” as the nation’s testing times are “not over yet”. He said this during a visit to the forward operating bases (FOB) in order to meet with combat and ground crew, air defence and engineering personnel, security troops and civilian staff, according to a PAF spokesperson. “We bow our heads in complete humility and express our gratitude to the Almighty for giving us the strength to come up to the expectations of our resilient nation. Although the Indian pilot’s repatriation as a peace gesture seems to have quelled the threat of violence from India, the CAS instructed all PAF staff to be wary of anything out of the blue. “The challenges are not over yet, and we should keep our guards up and always be ready to respond to any aggression from the adversary,” he told them.
