The aircraft hit a Port Authority of New York and New Jersey ground vehicle, according to the New York Police Department. Images circulating on social media appeared to show an Air Canada plane tilted on its tail with the nose of the aircraft ripped off. Air Canada and the Port Authority, which operates LaGuardia, didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment outside normal business hours.
