A complaint of domestic violence was lodged with the Krishnanagar police station on Wednesday after a 23-year-old woman was beaten up by her husband on the wedding night after she denied to have sex with him, as her health was bad. The complaint stated that on April 27 she got married to Dharmendra Sharma in New Delhi. She denied sex and resisted her husband, which made him angry. On the next day, after he returned home they had an argument over their wedding night and Parmar punched her and accused her of having an affair outside their marriage. Complaint was lodged with the Krishnanagar police station against three accused identified Dharmendra Sharma (husband), Sita Sharma (mother-in-law) and Shamsundar Sharma (father-in-law) under IPC section 498(K), 323, 294 (KH) and 506(2).
