Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has yet to conclude its probe on the detachment incident of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT). Last month, Aguirre issued an order for the NBI to conduct an investigation on the MRT coach that detached from a northbound train between Ayala and Buendia stations on November 16. READ: NBI heads probe of detached MRT-3 carADVERTISEMENTThe justice chief ordered the probe upon a request from the Department of Transportation (DOTr). “Wala pang definite results ang investigation sa MRT (There is no definite results yet),” Aguirre said on Tuesday. The DOTr hinted the possibility of sabotage after its initial probe revealed that the black box, or the Messma Card, of the detached train coach was missing.
