MANILA, Philippines — A Filipino co-owner of the Hong Kong-based travel agency responsible for leaving hundreds of Filipino workers stranded in Hong Kong was arrested, according to a report. Last week, hundreds of Filipino workers in Hong Kong discovered that the air tickets they paid for do not exist. The Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Labor and Employment had offered to assist the workers affected by the flight booking mess. Police searched the travel agency on Monday afternoon and later on seized several computers from the main office. The travel agency, on the other hand, had committed to refunding their customers.
